Internship Program for IT students in Redmond
Microsoft is looking for talented students to take a part in the Internship Program. They will spend 3 months (Summer 2005) in MS Headquarters in Redmond, USA.
Students will share the same job responsibilities as full-time employees in the product groups. They will be given real work with tremendous problems to solve and they will be working as part of a team charged with delivering world-class software. An internship at Microsoft takes you to places you´ve never been before. You´ll stretch your skills in new directions and take your talents to new heights.
Microsoft is looking to fill following intern positions:
• Software Design Engineer
Software Design Engineers (SDEs) develop next-generation applications, operating systems, and tools, just to name a few. They write code, construct data structures and algorithms, and work closely with the Program Manager to define and prioritize features. It´s an opportunity to explore new technical realms and leave a lasting technical legacy.
• Software Design Engineer in Test
A Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET) puts the product through its paces, walking in the users shoes. You´ll break the product down — including creating the tools such as automation, stand-alone programs, and device drivers — then work with Software Design Engineers to take the product smoothly to beta stage.
We expect the candidates to be:
Students at Czech/Slovak University (4th or 3th year) with IT orientation
Skilled programmers (C/C++, C#) with passion for writing code
Fluent in English
